At the end of my academic year in 2021, following my last exam, I made a point of returning to Witbank after hearing through the grapevine that a large-scale residence for students of the 'Tswane University of Technology' Witbank campus was being constructed. Zidlaphi Kgomo and Associates spearheaded this project. This was the ideal time for me to be exposed to such a large-scale project, as I had just concluded my undergraduate degree and already had a general understanding of building projects. I was able to hone a number of my talents, including working with interim payments to subcontractors, measuring, construction management, and also enhancing my physical attributes in the construction industry.
